Information We Collect

When you use our services or contact us, we may collect the following information: your name, email address, phone number, business name and type, and any messages you send through our contact form. If you use our booking or ordering systems, we collect the data necessary to operate those services on your behalf.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve our booking and dining services, respond to your inquiries, send service-related communications, and support your business operations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may use your email to send important updates about your account or our services.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers. It is encrypted in transit, our main database is encrypted at rest by our database provider, and our off-site backups are encrypted. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform: LINE (messaging and booking integration), Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudinary (image hosting), and Formspree (contact form processing). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function. BkkBoost Booking uses additional services, listed in the BkkBoost Booking section below.

BkkBoost Booking: Shops and Their Customers

Who is responsible. When you book with a shop that uses BkkBoost Booking, the shop decides how your data is used and is responsible for it (the data controller). BkkBoost stores and processes it for the shop (the data processor), only to run the shop's booking service.

What we process. Your name, phone number and email; if you book through LINE, your LINE user ID, display name and profile picture; your language preference; your bookings, visit history and the shop's notes about you; and records of payments the shop marks as received (we never receive card details). If the shop uses deposits, we also process the payment slip you upload. For shop owners and staff, we process their name, email and login.

Why. To take and manage bookings, send booking confirmations and reminders, show the shop your visit history, and keep the service secure.

Where, and with whom. BkkBoost Booking uses these services:

  • Supabase: database and logins, stored in Australia.
  • Vultr: our application server, in Singapore.
  • Cloudflare: hosts the booking pages.
  • LINE: messages and LINE login, through the shop's own LINE Official Account.
  • Resend: email delivery.
  • Cloudinary: shop logos and photos.
  • Backblaze: encrypted backups, stored in the United States.
  • Thunder: payment-slip checks, only if the shop uses deposits.

These providers handle the data only to run the service.

How long. As long as the shop uses BkkBoost Booking. When a shop leaves, its data is deleted within 90 days. Backup copies expire within about 5 weeks after that.

Deletion. A customer record with no bookings can be deleted on request. A customer with bookings keeps that booking history as the shop's business record; the name can be corrected and the phone number and email removed. Send requests to the shop, or to us and we will pass them on.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences such as language and theme settings. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your Rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. Contact us through our contact page or at [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. We may keep data where the law requires it, or where it is part of a business's own records (see above). If your data is held for a business that uses our software, such as a salon you booked with, you can also contact that business directly, and we will help them respond. You can also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).
